Lenovo Device Manager Solution Release Notes v25.9

New Features Added

  1. Intune Improvements
    1. Device Groups can now be synched to Device Management from the Device Groups page (as well as during the initial Intune connection.
    2. Intune Groups can be synched by clicking on the “Sync Intune Groups” (requires Intune Connector setup from Policy Management/Connectors).
  2. System Update Improvements
    1. When a device with a system update requiring a reboot has an application open in full screen or presentation mode, updates will be deferred automatically.
    2. The filter on the System Update/By Updates tab has been redesigned and now supports Driver "Categories".
    3. Policy Management/Features/System Update Preferences now supports deferral "days, weeks, and months".
    4. The column under the "Scheduled Updates" tab now refers to "System Update Description" instead of "Package Name" for consistency.
  3. Driver List
    1. Adds the full list of drivers for a device to the device tray.
    2. Creates an exportable report (within Notifications) for the full Driver List.
  4. System Inventory Improvements
    1. Adds Vendor name and device count to BIOS details for an extended fleet view.
    2. Allows for exporting the list of a specific BIOS version and all applicable devices with that version.
  5. System Update Test Ring Improvements
    1. Validates changes have been saved when test rings are added or changed.
    2. Makes transition between ring flows more understandable.
    3. Adds Notification Center to ring set and flow process.
  6. Miscellaneous Enhancements
    1. UDC Logging now available for Android (previously added for Windows and Linux. All can be selected from the Main Device List and reports gathered through the Notification Center.
    2. Adds Chromebook and ChromeOS filter to main device table.
    3. Adds ability to ignore Peakshift “No Charge Until” setting so customers can start the battery charge once the device hits the threshold set.
