Viewing Energy Savings Report

Viewing Energy Savings Report

This report provides IT Admins with precise information on total energy savings across the organization, derived from scheduled Power Management programs. It features two views: Dashboard and Individual Devices.

Dashboard

Displays total energy savings of all eligible devices across the organization.
Overview: offers a visual summary of all Power Management programs in use, showing the percentage of devices utilizing each program.
Total Energy Savings: estimates the energy savings compared to the previous week, month, and year.
Energy Savings: displays a chart, which covers a range of 1 year by default, showing columns with the energy savings for each month, when applies.

To change the range:
  1. Click the calendar in the Date search box.
  2. Select a time frame or select one of the three options displayed to the left of the calendar: Last Week, Last Month and Last Year.

Individual Devices

Displays a device table highlighting the energy savings per device. By default, the PC filter is selected, but you can choose Smart Edge instead. Both PC and Smart Edge function the same way. The PC list will be used as an example to demonstrate the feature.

PC

Displays detailed information for each individual device regarding the Power Management operations performed, including the Start Date, Total Hours Saved by each program, and the Estimated Energy Savings for each operation.

You can export all this information, or you can filter and refine your report.

To filter data, use any of these methods:
  1. Click on any of these column names: Device Name, Serial Number, Product Family, Power Management.
  2. Use the Calendar: select a time frame, or select one of the three options displayed to the left of the calendar: Last Week, Last Month and Last Year.
  3. Use the Search box: enter a device name or part of the name, a serial number, a product family, or a type of power management program in the Search box.
Once you have filtered the information, you can click Export. A .csv file is created and automatically downloaded to your computer.
