Using Remote Desktop Management on Intel vPro® Devices
IT Admins can connect to an eligible end user’s device from the Device Management > Devices page and selecting the Remote Management tab in the device tray, then Remote Desktop.
The device must be online, licensed and have the Intel vPro® agent installed. The device must be attended as the end user must consent to sharing access with LDM user.
- Click the Connect button to access the device
- Once connected, LDM will require the end user to click on Consent on the device to share access with the LDM User.
- Once the consent is provided, the device desktop can be viewed and accessed via LDM. LDM Users can perform the following operations:
- View all desktop displays available on the connected device
- Modify the scale of the desktop image seen on LDM
- Adjust the image quality seen on LDM
- Rotate the image on LDM
- Access Ctrl+Alt+Del on the end device
- Increase desktop image to full screen on LDM
- To disconnect from the device, click the Disconnect button.
Once disconnected, end user consent will be required to reconnect.
