New Features Added

  1. ThinkBIOS Integration (Phase 1)
    1. Adds the ability for IT Admins to remotely update BIOS settings for individual devices through the Devices / Device Tray / BIOS tab.
    2. This feature includes enabled/disabled settings, settings with multiple options, and boot order settings. Each section has specific controls for users to configure the BIOS settings.
    3. Supports any ThinkPad®, ThinkCentre®, or ThinkStation® PC and requires an LDM Pro or Premium license
  2. System Update Enhancements
    1. Adds the ability to add a Company Name and Logo to the end user dialog boxes, substantiating the source of the update messages.
    2. Expands the System Update testing functionality to the Device Group
  3. Simple Device Labeling
    1. Allows users to create and assign Labels through the device group
    2. Labels can be assigned to any device(s) and will be displayed within the Device Tray / Device Info tab.
  4. Miscellaneous LDM Enhancements 
    1. In preparation for LDO, unifies the Device List with 11 new column headers (aligning with LDI).
    2. Updates the Onboarding UX to align with LDO.
    3. Changes name of Policy Management/Org Settings to “Feature Settings”
    4. Expands language support, adding Portuguese (BZ), Japanese, Thai and Korean
    5. Adds error messaging when a user does not have permission to perform an operation

  1. [App Management] Duplicate tooltips for queued status app (DMS-12998)
  2. [Power Management Reports] Energy Savings Dashboard – Date selected period does not remain persistent in the date field after reopening (DMS-9843)
