Lenovo Device Manager Solution Release Notes v25.1
New Features Added
- System Update Testing Functionality
- Allows Org Admins to enable testing functionality for any System Update package.
- Provides test scheduling for specific devices, blocking across all others until test is approved, and test management (including history).
- Note: Process will be added to Device Groups in 25.4 and duplicated with Patch packages in the future.
- Lenovo Accessories Inventory / Docking Stations
- Now displays Accessories Inventory page under Device Management including fleet docking station and firmware details
- Also includes new Device Tray Accessory tab with docking station details listing connected USB peripherals
- System Inventory Management
- Displays fleet view of Windows and Linux BIOS version details providing a drill down of devices.
- Adds System Details on the Device Tray device information.
- Patch Improvements
- Allows Org Admins to automatically install the MSVC redistributable package on devices running Patch to ensure it will work properly with the LDM integration DLLs.
- Miscellaneous LDM Enhancements
- Improves Power Management scheduling when programs run across multiple days.
- All report exports now flow through “Notifications” improving performance and report management.
- Continued Accessibility and UX improvements.

- [Dashboard] The total apps value displayed in the Apps widget differs from the total number of apps available in the org (DMS-11791)
- [Device Management] MFA is not required for Android Factory Reset and Device Lock with PIN/Pass actions when Feature Controls is ON (DMS-9850)
- [Device Management] Displaying 2 Homes on LDM Page (with Device Orchestration) (DMS-11688)
- [Patch] Deploy multiple patches to device is failing (DMS-11083)
- [Patch] Not all detected available patches are displayed in patch page (DMS-9855)
- [Power Management] Can't create weekly or monthly schedule across days (DMS-7010)
- [Power Management] Can't see the selected hour/minute in the power management program edit step (DMS-10779)
- [Power Management] Two duplicated “Switch to Battery On” statuses are generated for PeakShift (DMS-12503)
