Creating and Managing a Lenovo ID
Lenovo ID is the secure and trusted mechanism providing authentication & identity management for Lenovo Client Remote Management. It offers single sign on as well as integration with other Lenovo solutions. Lenovo ID accounts can be freely created at
https://passport.lenovo.com. It is required that you create the Lenovo ID accounts before. Users can be invited to join and create an account.
Creating a Lenovo ID
- Visit https://passport.lenovo.com. Click Sign Up.
- In the Create Account screen, enter your email. Click Next.
Enter your password and confirmation. Opt in to get the latest news, updates and offers from Lenovo by selecting the checkbox. Click Next.
Passwords must have 8-20 characters and contain at least three of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Enter your personal details like First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth. Click Next.
- Confirm you are not a robot. Drag the slider to the specified location. Click Next upon verification success.
Your account will be created. Check your email to verify your account.
Signing in with Lenovo ID
To log in to, say, LDM Portal -
- Navigate to the LDM Portal. In the Sign In screen, enter your Lenovo ID and Password.
- Click Sign In.
Resetting the Lenovo ID Password
- Visit https://passport.lenovo.com. Enter your email address.
- Click Forgot Password
- Verify your identity by entering the characters shown on the page. Click Get Code. The code will be sent to your email.
- Copy the code from the email and paste it in the space provided. Click Next.
- In the Reset your Password screen, set your new password and confirmation in the space provided. Click Next.
- Your password will be reset. Click Next to log in with your Lenovo ID.
